Campaign Design - Stichting Duinbehoud

July 2019 — Brand awareness campaign for Stichting Duinbehoud (Institute of Dune Preservation)

Over the years, the Institute of Dune Preservation has worked hard to protect and preserve the Dunes of the Netherlands, both locally and nationwide.

The insitute collaborates with a large group of dune experts, volunteers and enthusiasts. To receive donations and recruit new volunteers, I decided to create an ode to the dunes. The ‘Duinen Bedankt’ campaign makes people aware of the importance of dune preservation in a positive way, thanking them. This way, I challenged them to think about their own personal connection to the dunes. What would you like to thank our dunes for?

To involve the volunteers work in this campaign, I used their photo library as visual language. I created 23 different posters and postcards connected to 23 different dune regions in the country. Together with the region specific booklets (4 in total) and flyers, they were spread across local areas. This way, people were able to recognize their own dune region establishing a personal and relatable connection.

Next to the print based materials, I created the online assets.
